Alternative Sanctuary Diary

A much needed update on the situation at The Sanctuary at present!

The last two years have been difficult to say the least BUT The Sanctuary has survived and actually improved and become more secure. Many improvements have been made, not least with regards to the financial situation. Two years ago now I was running at a £40,000 (personal) debt which I had been run up just keeping The Sanctuary going. Since becoming a registered charity this has allowed me to pay off that personal debt. In addition the generosity from valued supporters and some grants from Trusts, have ensured that the Sanctuary has a secure future.

The hope is now to continue with this work and increase the supporter’s base and gain more funding from the very few animal trusts which exist to allow The Sanctuary to grow over the coming months and years and well into the future.

We also have diaries available as well as a Will service. As usual all of this money will be put to good use and the need not only still exists but has actually increased over the years. The Sanctuary has in fact started to re-home dogs and cats as there are so many unwanted and there is a need for these species in particular to get their own individual attention in family homes.
