Sharon2b.jpg (28590 bytes) This is Sharon (the name she came with!) she came from a local farmer after the foot and mouth outbreak and was about to be slaughtered she gets on very well with Powerpack and they snuggle up together in their bed!
Alice, Ailsa and Sheila
whose owners were moving and didn't want to take them with them. They
are quite elderly and no one else would take them
Powerpack2b.jpg (18940 bytes) This is Powerpack, he was going to be sent to the Hunt Kennels because he came from a children's farm who had bred too many! He was so scared when he arrived that he dragged me the length of the farm hence the name Powerpack! He loves the pigs although they are not so keen on him when he plays with his horns although he is quiet gentle!

The Goats

The goats all arrived from Bath, their owners had them in a nearby field but were having a lot of problems with finances, neighbours, the fencing and them being fed things which were bad for them. No one was prepared to take them in except a sanctuary in Wales where they would be split up which seemed a shame as they are a family. Actually Solly bullied the twins a bit but generally they get on well. Even with a purpose built run they escaped out of the enclosure a few times until I managed to find where they were getting out. The amusing thing was they always returned back up the path having got out and wanted to be let back in. Recently they discovered how to open the locked gate! I have now had to put a chain around it as they were not good gardeners!
